The 2024 VectorVest ETF Challenge!
RULES for the 2024 ETF Challenge:
- Each VectorVest 7 Subscriber is allowed one and only one entry.
- All competition portfolios will utilize the VectorVest 7 U.S. platform.
- This contest is using ETFs only. You may build your own Trading System or use an existing, qualified Trading System in VectorVest 7.
- Each entry must use automatable VectorVest 7 trading systems within the VectorVest 7 Portfolio Manager.
- Once your trading system is deployed, it cannot be changed or altered.
- All ETF selections must be >= $1 per share.
- All ETF selections must have Average Volume >= 250,000 shares.
- Custom WatchLists are permitted assuming they meet selection criteria.
- No Shorting is allowed; however, Contra/Inverse ETFs are allowed.
- The use of Market Timing is encouraged but not required.
- Competition portfolios will show up in the “Portfolios” Tab in VectorVest 7 US, under the “Contest Portfolios” section. Competition portfolios will be preset with $50,000 and zero commission.
- The competition portfolio will be added to your VectorVest account by Saturday, March 30, 2024. At this point, you may enter your trading system into the genius and turn it on.
- The competition will begin at the market's Open on Monday, April 1, 2024, and end at the market's Close on Friday, June 28, 2024.
- You may deploy your Trading System any time on or after March 30, 2024.
- Entries may trade in End-of-Day, Intra-Day or RealTime.
- Any and all “ties” will automatically default to Winning Trade % as the tie breaker.
- Any violations to the rules will make you ineligible for the prize.
- All VectorVest decisions are final.
- All submissions become the property of VectorVest, Inc.
Note: During the contest, access to the AutoTimer will be provided.
Prizes:
- 1st Place: $500 USD
- 2nd Place: $250 USD
- 3rd Place: $125 USD
Bonus: VectorVest Choice Award of $500 USD will be awarded as determined by VectorVest. This may or may not be one of the top 3 winners.
