Timespan Scroll Bar

The Timespan Scroll Bar can be found on all graphs. This tool identifies the amount of data currently being displayed on the screen, and allows the user to scroll to past data that is beyond the currently viewed area, or to increase the amount of data that is being shown.

 

Viewing past data using the Timespan Scroll Bar:

There are several ways to view past data using the Timespan Scroll Bar:

  1. Click in the empty space beside the scroll bar to display the next block of time.

  1. Place the mouse cursor on the Timespan Bar, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the bar in the desired direction.

  2. Use the white arrows on either end of the Timespan Scroll Bar to move the viewing area in smaller increments.

Increasing Viewable Data using the Timespan Scroll Bar:

  1. Place your cursor over the small black arrow on the Timespan Scroll Bar. Your cursor will change to a double-headed arrow.

  2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the Timespan Bar to the left. The increased time will be reflected on the scroll bar.

  3. Release the mouse button when the desired amount of time is reached.
