Graph Markers bring significant data changes to your attention. There are eight markers included in the VectorVest Program, including Markers, High Low, Splits, Dividends, REC, Log, Last Close, and Calls. Display them all, or just the ones that are important to your trading.
To show a graph marker left-click on the marker label on the bottom toolbar. To hide a graph marker repeat this process.
Available Markers:
Marker: The Real Time marker is shown on the right side of the screen and marks the current price-level. It is color coded, green when the price is higher than the previous bar's close, red when the price is lower than the previous bar's close, and yellow when the price is unchanged from the previous bars close.
High Low: The High Low Marker will mark the high price and the low price for the viewable graph area.
Splits: The Split Marker will be displayed at the point a stock has split, and show the amount of shares split.
REC: The REC Marker is displayed at the top of the graph, and will show the VectorVest Buy, Sell, or Hold Recommendation for any security.
Log: The Log Marker allows you to view a Logarithmic chart when selected, or a Linear chart when un-selected.
Calls: The Calls Marker displays the VectorVest Confirmed Market Calls. This marker is not available when viewing Intraday data. A down call is represented by a red arrow tip and an up call is represented by a green arrow tip. Hover your mouse over the up or down arrow tip and the time frame of the call will be visible. The time period will also be highlighted red or green on the graph.
Last Close: The Last Close Marker marks the last closing price of the security.
